Sometimes I really do wish my life was a story that I was reading, a fantasy going on in my mind, where I feel so sorry for the main girl but I know it will never happen to me. Well, right now, that's not the case.
When I spread the word that my house mates and I are having a Christmas party, I expected some help. I even expected to split the money for food and decorations. Did I get any of that, dear readers? No I didn't. You know why, my invisible friends? My house mates are lazy, selfish, hair brained losers. And I'm not being facetious. They really are and it upsets me. It's the day of our Christmas party, and there are three out of five of us left in the house. I am downstairs, cleaning the house so we don't look like a complete embarrassment when people come over, whereas the other two are no where to be seen. I suppose I just need to vent to someone who doesn't know them, and doesn't care whether I am being mean about them because it's all true.
Parties are such a worry as well. There is always the fear that no one will turn up, that no one will like the music, that no one will appreciate the way you've done things, but then the worry is fine if you have some people to share it with. Not me. All alone here. Worry for One, please. But the silver lining is that the party is now mine and I can do whatever I want to it. That worries even me, if I'm honest. My best friend thinks it'll turn into a Disney Christmas, but it's all good. I will hold my head up high in my Christmas Tree costume and I will be able to say...I made this happen ....... if it does happen that is !! Well, wish me luck fellow bloggers. I am off to turn my house into a Winter Wonderland :)
